Just as its name suggests, Swiss lace is a premium wig net fabric made in Switzerland.
This kind of lace material features remarkable lightness, softness, translucency and a lifelike appearance, making it an ideal material for the production of mid-to-high-end lace wigs.
This premium Swiss lace is usually applied to the hairline and crown areas to achieve a better wearing effect.
Here is a comparison picture of ordinary lace and Swiss lace below.

We can see that its threads are thin and the mesh holes are small, which gives it a great invisible effect. Therefore, this type of lace is highly popular and widely praised by wig wearers.

Swiss lace also comes in different color options to match various skin tones. The light-colored and transparent Swiss lace we commonly use is suitable for wig wearers of all skin tones. If you need dark-colored lace, we can also provide it.

However, Swiss lace is not perfect; it has its drawbacks. Being thin and soft, it is relatively more prone to tearing when compared with other thicker types of lace. But you don't need to worry about this at all—it won't tear unless you deliberately pull it hard. We also rarely receive complaints about this issue from our wig customers. Another issue is that if not properly cared for, the edges of Swiss lace—being relatively thin and soft—are more prone to curling than those of other types of lace.
